Course: Basic Statistical Tools for Production

Introduction

In the production area, statistical knowledge has been applied everywhere, whether it is the control chart and process capability analysis in SPC, the hypothesis test used to identify the impact of factors on product performance, and the correlation analysis and regression analysis used to identify the quantitative relationship between input variables and output variables.

These basic statistical tools can help us form a more scientific and quantifiable understanding of the process, so as to better control the product quality. This course will teach the basic knowledge of statistics needed in production, and systematically introduce the commonly used statistical tools, so that students can better understand and use them at work.
