The New AI Shift: From Tools to Workflows

On August 5, 2026, the "The New AI Shift: From Tools to Workflows" online info session, co-hosted by Linke Consulting, AmCham China, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, and FinnCham China, was successfully held.

During the session, speaker Nicole Wang walked participants through the evolving landscape of AI tools and built a practical framework for enterprise-level decision-making. Nicole began by unpacking why AI adoption in many organizations still remains at the level of individual productivity, tracing how AI has evolved from content-generation tools into workflow assistants and, increasingly, agentic systems — noting that the enterprise AI advantage is shifting from tool selection toward workflow and system design. She then guided participants through distinguishing between personal productivity tools, workflow-based AI applications, and agentic systems, and shared a framework for evaluating AI use cases across value, risk, feasibility, and governance requirements. The session concluded with real-world case studies and practical takeaways, followed by an interactive Q&A.

"Examples are good."
"Cases sharing."
"The speaker was well-prepared, with excellent use of real-world case examples."
