Introduction

With the development of digitization, it has become a common practice to evaluate the process performance through data. However, is the fluctuation we observed through the data really the fluctuation of the process itself? The answer is No. The data is collected by measurement system. The accuracy of the measurement system directly affects the measurement data, and the fluctuation reflected by the data is the sum of the fluctuation of the process and the fluctuation of the measurement system itself. In most cases, the fluctuation of the measurement system is unavoidable. Therefore, the performance reflected by the measurement system is not the real performance of the process.

 

Then, how to identify the fluctuation of the measurement system, what is the acceptable range, and how to optimize the measurement system to reduce its fluctuation have become the questions that must be answered before data collection. Therefore, measurement system analysis has become a systematic course.

随着数字化的发展,在质量管理过程中,通过数据来反映流程的情况已成为惯例。然而,我们通过数据观察到的波动真的就是流程本身的波动吗?答案是否定的。数据源于测量,测量系统本身准确与否、误差大小直接影响了测量数据,而数据反映的波动则是流程的波动和测量系统本身波动的加和。大多情况下,测量系统的波动是无法消除的,因此,测量系统反映的情况并不是流程的真实情况。

 

那么,如何识别测量系统的波动,可接受的范围是多少,如何优化测量系统使其波动降低则成了收集数据前的必须回答的问题,测量系统分析也成为了一门系统化的课程。
